Sports Day 2009The usual carnival atmosphere was evident at the 2009 Sports Day, even with the threat of rain. The pupils enjoyed making banners, 'dressing up' and adding considerable vocal support to egg on their teams to athletic greatness! |
Summer CampAnnual summer camp runs in Criccieth, North Wales. The camp of 2009 included five separate camps from years 7 through to year 10. The Geography and Physical Education departments jointly organised the set up, running and decamp of the trip. The accommodation consists of one sheep field, one sheep hut which is converted into the luxury kitchen with both the staff and pupils sleeping in tents that are erected on arrival. Pupils took part in activities in and around the Snowdonia area such as; Coastal and hill walks, swimming, bike riding, canoeing, climbing, skiing and most popular with the pupils - the Water Slide set up on camp itself. |

The Holiday Inn in Brighouse was the venue for a glamorous evening, as year 11 celebrated the end of their 5 years at Earlsheaton Technology College. Talented musicians Lauren Black, Annie Blay, Jack Talbot, Jan Janco, Tim Gregory, Hollie Cooper and former pupil Josh Edge performed live, for a very appreciative audience.
